I became a lawyer because I enjoy solving problems.
I think that at some very basic level I have always been a blue collar guy. I grew up fishing and fixing cars. My mom was a school teacher; my dad worked for the phone company. Before law school I spent five years climbing telephone poles for a living, just like my father.
I know what it means to earn money one dollar at a time. I think because of that, there is nothing that bothers me more than when some insurance company tries to railroad regular people out of the money they need to put their lives back together after an injury caused by negligence.
Personal injury law can seem complicated, but it doesn’t have to be.
What is important to me is that I sit down and talk to each client about the law, to explain the law that applies to his or her case. It is important to me to spend this time because I want each client to understand all legal options and then let them choose which option is right for them. I want clients to feel that they are calling the shots in their case. When an injured client has all the information about the facts of their injury case and understands the legal rules that apply, they can make a decision that is best for them personally.
In every case, with every client, I spend the time to talk straight about the law.
It’s not just about great results. It’s about great results that the client understands and feels good about. I feel that this is the kind of experience that everyone should have when they hire a personal injury lawyer.

What David’s clients have to say
I had two previous attorneys, both basically saying they could not help me AFTER taking my case. David Brown not only kept my case but did the research for naming the correct businesses responsible for my injuries. As a result, we filed a lawsuit and it was actually settled before going to trial. Throughout the whole process, David and his staff were always available to me. -Adele
I was a passenger in an auto accident that happened in Oklahoma. I called Brett McCandlis Brown & Conner because I was having problems paying my medical bills. Even before I hired David Brown, He had straightened out my problem. After filing the lawsuit, I was walked through the legal process, and was treated with kindness and compassion. My case was settled and I received a really good settlement. -Personal Injury Client
