Adam paid his way through college with a career in show business, most notably by starring as a principal singer-dancer alongside the world-famous Rockettes in over 500 performances of the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular, including 66 shows, with a solo performance at the Grand Ole Opry, and as a winning contestant on the television game shows Wheel of Fortune and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?

Adam is fluent in Spanish. Before commencing his legal career, Adam graduated from the University of Washington with a double major in economics and Spanish.  Adam studied abroad in Mexico, Ecuador, and Spain and volunteered as a medical interpreter in Honduras, Mexico, and Bolivia.

Just as he isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty representing his clients today, Adam’s adventures in volunteering found him delivering a baby for Zapatista rebels in Chiapas, extracting every tooth in the human mouth, working in garbage dump communities, and being held at gunpoint in Honduras and the Dominican Republic.  Adam considers himself extraordinarily fortunate to be alive and practicing law in the beautiful and relatively safe state of Washington.

When he is not practicing law, Adam relishes his role as Family Chef and Head Coach of his son’s soccer team, the fearsome Fire Tarantulas.

I believe that representing clients is about more than knowing the law.

It’s about listening, understanding what someone is going through, and making sure they have an advocate who is willing to go the extra mile.

My own path to practicing law has taken me through some unusual places. Before becoming an attorney, I paid my way through college with a career in show business, including more than 500 performances as a principal singer-dancer alongside the world-famous Rockettes in the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular. I also performed a solo at the Grand Ole Opry and was fortunate enough to compete successfully on both Wheel of Fortune and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?

I graduated from the University of Washington with a double major in economics and Spanish and studied abroad in Mexico, Ecuador, and Spain. I’m fluent in Spanish, and before beginning my legal career, I volunteered as a medical interpreter in Honduras, Mexico, and Bolivia.

Those experiences taught me a lot about connecting with people, working through difficult circumstances, and never being afraid to get my hands dirty. My volunteer adventures have included delivering a baby for Zapatista rebels in Chiapas, extracting every tooth in the human mouth, working in garbage dump communities, and even being held at gunpoint in Honduras and the Dominican Republic.

Today, I bring that same determination and willingness to get involved to my work as a personal injury lawyer. I consider myself extraordinarily fortunate to be alive, to practice law, and to help people in the beautiful and relatively safe state of Washington.

“Adam Engst is simply the best! Professional, genuine, and truly puts the people in the heart of what he does. It was a pleasure working with him. Highly recommend!”

“When I found myself needing a personal injury attorney after a serious injury, I was overwhelmed and honestly had no idea what to expect from the legal process. Recovering physically was difficult, but the emotional impact was just as challenging. It was a really stressful time in my life.
From the very beginning, Adam Engst and his entire team made me feel supported. They were always kind, patient, and quick to respond whenever I had questions or needed reassurance. They explained everything clearly, kept me updated throughout my case, and made a complicated process feel much less overwhelming. I never felt like I was just another client. They truly cared about me and my recovery. I was extremely happy with the outcome of my case and so grateful to have had such a knowledgeable and compassionate team advocating for me. Looking back, I am so glad I chose Adam to represent me.
I would absolutely recommend Adam with Brett McCandlis Brown & Conner to anyone who has been seriously injured. If you want an attorney who genuinely cares about his clients, communicates well, and works hard to achieve the best possible outcome, I cannot recommend Adam and his team enough. They made a difficult experience so much easier, and I am incredibly grateful for everything they did for me.”

When he isn’t practicing law, I’m proud to take on two other important roles: Family Chef and Head Coach of my son’s soccer team, the fearsome Fire Tarantulas.
